ಬಿಬಿಎಂಪಿ (ಬೃಹತ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಮಹಾನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆ)

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರದ ಮಹಾನಗರ ಪಾಲಿಕೆ. ಇಂತಹ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳನ್ನು ಭಾರತದ ಸಂವಿಧಾನದಲ್ಲಿ LUB, local urban body ಅಥವಾ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ನಗರ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಎಂದು ವ್ಯಾಖ್ಯಾನಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು ಬಿಬಿಎಂಪಿ ನಮ್ಮ ನಗರದ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಆಡಳಿತಾತ್ಮಕ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಒಂದು ನಗರಕ್ಕೆ ಅತ್ಯಗತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಬೇಕಾಗಿರುವ ರಸ್ತೆಗಳು, ಕಾಲುದಾರಿಗಳು, ಚರಂಡಿಗಳು, ಉದ್ಯಾನವನಗಳು ಮುಂತಾದ ನಾಗರಿಕರ ಸೌಕರ್ಯಗಳ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸುಧಾರಣೆ ಬಿಬಿಎಂಪಿಯ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾಗಿವೆ.

‘ಬಿಬಿಎಂಪಿ ಕೌನ್ಸಿಲ್’ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲಾಗುವ ಚುನಾಯಿತ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳ ಒಂದು ಮಂಡಳಿಯು ಬಿಬಿಎಂಪಿಯನ್ನು ನಡೆಸುತ್ತದೆ.

ಪ್ರತಿ 5 ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಗೊಮ್ಮೆ ನಡೆಯುವ ಬಿಬಿಎಂಪಿ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ 198 ಬಿಬಿಎಂಪಿ ವಾರ್ಡ್‌ಗಳಿಂದ (ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರದ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ ಆಡಳಿತದ ಉದ್ದೇಶಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಗರವನ್ನು ವಿಭಜಿಸಲಾಗಿರುವ ಸಣ್ಣ ಘಟಕಗಳು) 'ಕಾರ್ಪೊರೇಟರ್' ಒಬ್ಬರನ್ನು ಆಯ್ಕೆಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಕಾರ್ಪೊರೇಟರ್ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಅಥವಾ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಪಕ್ಷದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಹೊಂದಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.

Visit https://voters.eci.gov.in/ and then click on Track Application Status

Select STATE and enter the application reference number to view the status.

Once EPIC number is available, try downloading the e-EPIC card from https://voters.eci.gov.in/

 

Login to https://voters.eci.gov.in/ and click on E-EPIC Download and follow the steps (election team needs to enable the option to download).
