BNP is Different
A party Of Bengaluru, For Bengaluru, and By the people of Bengaluru!
Why BNP?

We focus 100% on Bengaluru – no distractions from state or national politics.
At Bengaluru Navanirmana Party (BNP), we believe that transformation begins at home. That’s why we only contest the BBMP elections – because civic issues like water, roads, waste management, public spaces, and neighbourhood services matter most to people’s daily lives.
We reject the usual drift of political parties towards state and national agendas, which often leaves city problems neglected. Our single-minded focus on Bengaluru means we develop detailed, ward-wise plans and solutions. We listen to residents, map out every area, and allocate resources where they’re needed the most. Accountability to citizens and not to party bosses, this is how we ensure Bengaluru is rebuilt and governed well.

100+ Core Leaders who are driving change in their respective wards!
BNP was founded by Srikanth Narasimhan, alumnus of BITS Pilani and IIM Bengaluru, and now has 100+ leaders who are professionals, students, social activists, homemakers, and not career politicians.
They are people who have resolved civic issues in their own neighbourhoods: fixing streetlights, organising composting, helping roll out relief programmes, volunteering in schools, restoring lakes.
We have corporator candidates based on merit and track record – what they have already done for their ward, rather than on party politics, dynasties, or electoral ambitions.
Because when leaders live among the people they serve, they share their concerns, feel their urgency, and are accountable every day. That is how BNP ensures governance that listens, responds, and delivers.

1300+ Civic issues resolved
At BNP, we believe governance should start with basics – clean water, smooth roads, efficient waste management, better public transport, safer neighbourhoods, and greener spaces.
Unfortunately, these everyday issues often get drowned out by big political narratives at the state or national level. Citizens end up frustrated with potholes, flooding, garbage piles, traffic chaos, and vanishing lakes while politicians chase headlines elsewhere.
BNP changes that. We focus on real problems like water, waste, roads, and safety and our work can be seen on our Civic Issues page with documented results for each ward.
For us, civic problems are not talking points. They are action points. And solving them is the reason we exist.

Complex problems need expert opinions
Bengaluru’s problems are complex traffic, flooding, waste management, water scarcity and require data-driven, expert-backed solutions rather than ad-hoc decisions or political gimmicks.
BNP brings together urban planners, civic experts, technologists, economists, and community leaders to design policies and projects based on science, evidence, and global best practices.
At the same time, we ensure citizen participation so that plans reflect real on-ground needs. This collaboration between experts and residents helps deliver practical, effective, and sustainable solutions for the city.
Our aim is a Bengaluru where governance is not guesswork, but a well-researched, well-executed partnership between science, expertise, and citizen voices

100+ Area Sabhas with 1,000+ Area Sabha Members who lead in their community to execute various citizen initiatives!
BNP believes democracy should be closest to the people it serves. That’s why we want Area Sabhas which are neighbourhood-level meetings where citizens can directly voice concerns, suggest solutions, and monitor progress.
These forums make governance participatory and transparent. Budgets, projects, and timelines become open for citizen review, and elected representatives are directly answerable to the people in their wards.
Our goal is to shift power from party offices to the community itself. This is how accountability becomes a daily practice, not just an election slogan.

₹21,653 Cr worth of BBMP projects made public, exposing tendering scams
Every year, thousands of crores of rupees are allocated to Bengaluru’s municipal government. Yet, citizens often see little improvement in services because funds disappear into inefficiency, corruption, or poorly planned projects.
BNP is determined to change this. Our goal is simple: every rupee collected from citizens should be transparently used for citizens’ needs, not lost in the system.
BNP is politics, done differently. See for yourself.
Our Ideology
C
Citizen Participation
Every citizen has a say. Area Sabhas bring communities together to solve problems at the source.
BNP believes that governance works best when citizens are active participants, not passive observers. Area Sabhas in every ward allow residents to discuss local issues, propose solutions, and track progress.
This participatory approach ensures that policies are grounded in reality, reflect actual needs, and have community buy-in. Citizens don’t just vote once every five years but they are partners in decision-making, planning, and monitoring.
A
Accountability
Leaders are answerable. Every decision and every rupee is open to review by the public.
Accountability is at the core of BNP’s ideology. Elected representatives are directly responsible to their ward and its residents, not party bosses.
All decisions, from infrastructure projects to service delivery, are documented and publicly reviewed. Citizens can track progress, question delays, and hold leaders accountable for performance.
BNP ensures that every action has oversight, creating a culture where promises are kept and responsibilities are not ignored.
T
Transparency
We believe in openness. From finances to decisions, everything is shared with you – no secrets, no hidden agendas.
Transparency is non-negotiable for BNP. From budget allocations to project implementation, citizens have full access to information.
We use public dashboards, open data, and regular updates to ensure residents know exactly what is happening in their wards.
By eliminating hidden agendas and secret deals, BNP fosters trust between citizens and governance, making it possible for everyone to participate meaningfully in city-building.
