A Master in Telecom Engineering with 35 years in senior IT management, she is the Founder of Mahati Trust, dedicated to cervical cancer prevention, and former RWA President.

Swarupa brings unparalleled experience from both the corporate and philanthropic worlds. She holds a Master’s degree in Telecom Engineering and has 35 years of experience in the IT field, reaching senior management roles. Despite her technical background, she is an extremely people-oriented person, often considered the “HR person” of her teams.

Beyond the corporate sector, she is the Founder of Mahati Trust, an NGO focused on addressing Cervical Cancer prevention in Karnataka. She has also demonstrated strong local leadership as the former President of her RWA in Classic Orchards, South Bangalore. Her civic commitment shone during the pandemic, where she worked extensively with other Gottigere BNP core members to set up war rooms, tele-counselling, and created vital IEC material.
